Indian low-cost carrier IndiGo updated its Mumbai to Amsterdam operational schedule on 14OCT26. The airline adjusted the timetable covering the timeframe from 16DEC26 to 27MAR27, confirming that it now maintains 1 daily flight between Mumbai and Amsterdam. This decision reverses an earlier plan that called for reducing frequency to 3 weekly operations.

Following this latest adjustment, IndiGo continues to operate 1 daily flight across the entire winter season, specifically on and after 25OCT26. Starting from that same date, the carrier deploys the A321XLR to replace the Norse Atlantic 787-9 previously scheduled on the route.

The published schedule indicates the following daily rotations using equipment code 32Q:

  • Flight 6E021 departs BOM at 0625 and reaches AMS at 1300.
  • Flight 6E022 departs AMS at 1415 and reaches BOM at 0425+1.

Why it matters for your training

The deployment of the A321XLR on long-haul routes illustrates the operational expansion of narrowbody aircraft into traditional widebody city pairs.
