Question 1

What is MyATPS?

Accepted Answer

MyATPS (Aviation Training and Preparation System) is a complete online platform designed to help student pilots prepare for their ATPL exams. It combines an advanced quiz interface with 20,000+ questions, research-based explanations, an aviation dictionary with audio and 3D models, a resource library, live quiz sharing, and powerful progress tracking — all in one place.

Question 2

What makes your explanations different?

Accepted Answer

Our explanations are crafted from extensive research in aviation education and teaching methodology. We developed a unique explanation format based on our in-depth study of how pilots learn best — structured to help you truly understand the concept, not just memorize the answer. Each explanation is thorough, accurate, and designed to build lasting knowledge.

Question 3

How much does MyATPS cost?

Accepted Answer

MyATPS is completely free. No credit card or subscription required.

Question 4

What is the aviation dictionary?

Accepted Answer

The aviation dictionary is a comprehensive online glossary covering all ATPL-related terminology. Each term comes with audio pronunciations, 3D interactive models of instruments and components, real images, and cross-references to related terms — from VORs to navigation instruments and beyond.

Question 5

Can I study with friends or share quizzes?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! MyATPS lets you share study sessions with specific users or make them public. You can also launch live Kahoot-style quizzes where participants join with a simple code — no account needed. It's perfect for instructors running group sessions or students organizing study groups.

Question 6

Can I use MyATPS for free?

Accepted Answer

MyATPS is completely free. No credit card or subscription required.

Question 7

Can I use MyATPS alongside my flight school curriculum?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's the most common use case. MyATPS covers the 14 official EASA ATPL subjects, aligned with the syllabus your school uses. Many of our users keep it open during class to re-read an annex, or in the evening to consolidate what they covered in lecture. It's not a replacement for your school — it's the study companion your school doesn't have the time to build.

Question 8

Which ATPL subjects are covered?

Accepted Answer

All 14 mandatory EASA subjects for the ATPL license: Air Law, Airframe & Systems, Instrumentation, Mass & Balance, Performance, Flight Planning & Monitoring, Human Performance & Limitations, Meteorology, General Navigation, Radio Navigation, Operational Procedures, Principles of Flight, Communications VFR, Communications IFR. Each subject has thousands of questions with detailed explanations and linked terms in the aviation dictionary.

Question 9

How is MyATPS different from a printed question bank?

Accepted Answer

A book gives you questions and answers. MyATPS gives you explanations that actually teach the concept, instant subject search, a built-in 3D dictionary, three quiz modes (STUDY to learn, TEST to assess, EXAM to simulate real conditions), and an AI assistant when you're stuck. A book is passive; MyATPS is adaptive — and costs less than a single textbook across your full preparation.

Question 10

How long does it take to prepare for the ATPL exams?

Accepted Answer

Prepare for the 14 exams at your own pace. Preparation often takes 6–12 months, and MyATPS stays free throughout.

Question 11

Does MyATPS guarantee first-attempt success?

Accepted Answer

No one can honestly guarantee that — your success depends on your own work. What we do guarantee: every tool is here (20,000+ EASA-aligned questions, explanations written by student pilots, progress analytics that honestly flag your weak areas). Users who pass on the first attempt average 30 questions per day and consistently read the explanations. The tools are ours, the discipline is yours.
