Easyjet expands its route network from EuroAirport by adding an additional Italian destination to its scheduled operations. The carrier has announced regular commercial services connecting the EuroAirport platform directly to the Mediterranean island of Pantelleria.
Starting on May 29, 2027, the airline will operate two weekly rotations on this route. Easyjet plans to run scheduled flights every Wednesday and Saturday between the tri-national airport and the island.
With the introduction of this new scheduled service, Easyjet broadens its commercial offering out of Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg by targeting a tourist destination situated away from the larger Italian holiday islands. The carrier thus develops its scheduled network from the region toward smaller Mediterranean island destinations.
