Air Uniqon, in partnership with German airline Avanti Air, will introduce a new seasonal route between Berlin and Sylt starting July 2, 2026. This direct air link will reduce travel time to just 60 minutes, compared to the six to seven hours required by train via Hamburg. This service is part of a strategic initiative to connect regional airports through point-to-point flights, showcasing the niche market focus of this emerging virtual airline. The new flights will operate twice weekly from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) to Sylt Airport (GWT) until October 5, 2026. Scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays, the flight times are designed to maximize short stays on the island, particularly during long weekends. Air Uniqon emphasizes the convenience of air travel, significantly cutting down the time it takes to reach this popular North Sea resort.
