Vietjet entrusts 44 A320neo family aircraft to Collins FlightSense program
The carrier expands its technical agreement with RTX subsidiary Collins Aerospace, covering predictive maintenance and components for 24 A321neos and 20 A321XLRs.
Vietjet Air has expanded its support agreement with Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, to incorporate predictive maintenance services for 44 Pratt & Whitney GTF-powered A320neo family aircraft. This fleet commitment includes 24 A321neos as well as 20 long-range A321XLR airframes selected in February 2026.
Through the FlightSense program, which leverages the Ascentia data analytics platform, Collins Aerospace provides component availability guarantees, aiming to minimize aircraft downtime and optimize dispatch reliability. The system processes flight and engineering parameters to anticipate component failures and schedule line maintenance efficiently.
Vietjet currently operates 27 A321neo aircraft, with orders pending for an additional 165 units along with 20 A321XLRs. Other operators enrolled in the FlightSense program include All Nippon Airlines (ANA), Singapore Airlines, and Royal Brunei Airlines.
