United has updated its schedule filing for the Northern summer 2027 season, detailing an expansion on its transatlantic route between Newark and Palma de Mallorca.

Starting 21JUN27, the carrier plans to increase its frequency on the city pair from four weekly rotations to a daily service. The scheduled termination date for this daily operation is not yet specified in the current filing.

The service will be operated using Boeing 767-400ER widebody aircraft under the following schedule:

  • UA236 departs Newark at 1620 and touches down in Palma de Mallorca at 0615 the following morning.
  • UA237 departs Palma de Mallorca at 1000 to arrive at Newark at 1310 (operating daily except Fridays).
  • UA237 departs Palma de Mallorca at 1010 to arrive at Newark at 1315 on Fridays.

In a related seasonal adjustment, United's Newark to Santiago de Compostela service for 2027 is rescheduled to commence on 06JUN27, rather than the initially planned 28MAY27 date.
