On Wednesday evening, flight HV010 landed at Rotterdam / The Hague Airport, marking the first time that Transavia has permanently stationed an Airbus jet at this specific operational base. The airframe assigned to inaugurate this base deployment is an Airbus A320neo bearing the registration PH-YHR.

As a direct result of this positioning flight, the carrier's aircraft contingent based at Rotterdam / The Hague now consists of one Airbus A320neo and six Boeing 737 aircraft. This deployment initiates a structural fleet rollover: over the coming years, the airline plans to progressively replace the Boeing 737 fleet with incoming Airbus aircraft.

The carrier, an Air-France-KLM subsidiary, has maintained an operational base in Rotterdam since the year 2000. Operating out of this facility, the airline currently serves a network of 31 destinations.
