Singapore Airlines has filed significant service changes regarding its planned route to Saudi Arabia in this week's schedule update. The Star Alliance member airline had previously planned to resume commercial operations between Singapore and Riyadh on 01DEC26. This resumption on the Singapore to Riyadh route, originally scheduled with 3 weekly flights, has now been officially postponed to late-1Q27, with the new launch date set for 28MAR27.

Furthermore, the carrier has adjusted its capacity for the upcoming Northern summer 2027 season. On this sector, Singapore Airlines now schedules 3 weekly flights instead of the 4 weekly rotations that were initially scheduled.

According to the filed operational schedule, the scheduled rotations are planned under the following flight numbers:

  • Flight SQ498 is scheduled to depart Singapore at 1820 and arrive in Riyadh at 2145.
  • Flight SQ499 is scheduled to depart Riyadh at 2300 and reach Singapore the following day at 1215+1.
