Riyadh Air has officially opened ticket sales for an upcoming direct scheduled service connecting Riyadh to Jakarta, with commercial operations planned to commence on 16 November 2026. With this addition, the Indonesian capital marks the 16th destination made available for booking across the network of the Saudi carrier.

The airline intends to maintain an operational schedule consisting of three weekly flights on this sector, with all rotations performed by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner widebody aircraft. According to the published timetable, outbound flights from Riyadh are set to depart at 22:50 local time and touch down at Jakarta’s Soekarno–Hatta Airport at 12:00 on the following day. For the return leg, flights are scheduled to depart Jakarta at 15:00 and arrive back in Riyadh at 20:15, with all indicated timings expressed in local hours.

According to the company, this nonstop connection is anticipated to cater to demand across business travel, tourism, and religious journeys between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, while simultaneously feeding connecting passenger traffic routed through Riyadh. This route launch aligns directly with the airline's long-term commercial ambition to expand its network to more than 100 destinations by 2030.
