Eurowings has revealed substantial additions to its winter 2026/27 schedule across multiple European hubs. The airline will inaugurate services to Baghdad from Berlin and Düsseldorf starting 10 December 2026, offering two rotations per week from each station. This move reinforces its network across the Middle East, alongside frequencies to Erbil, Jeddah, Tel Aviv, Beirut, Amman, and Dubai.

From Berlin, new seasonal sectors include Rome, Bologna, and Kuusamo, while frequencies to London-Heathrow and Nice remain extended from summer. Further extensions connect Hamburg with Jerez de la Frontera, Hanover and Stuttgart with Cairo, and Cologne/Bonn with Klagenfurt, Pristina, and Tbilisi. Düsseldorf operations maintain winter direct connections to Tallinn and Milan-Linate, complementing existing frequencies to Milan-Malpensa. Beyond Germany, Prague gains a weekly service to Rovaniemi beginning 20 December 2026.

On the fleet side, Eurowings introduces its Premium BIZ Seat configuration on 1 December 2026. Fitted across the first two rows of the Airbus A320neo in a 2x2 layout, the design provides eight dedicated seats with increased pitch and leg rests. This cabin modification will initially operate on rotations to Dubai, alongside selected services to London-Heathrow, Mallorca, and Málaga.

Why it matters for your training

Network growth into destination-specific airfields and cabin reconfigurations affect route dispatch, weight and balance calculations, and crew flight duty planning across seasonal operations.
