Eurowings is increasing its medium-haul operations toward the Middle East for the winter 2026/27 schedule. The Lufthansa Group carrier introduces scheduled passenger flights to Baghdad, operating twice weekly from both Berlin and Düsseldorf starting 10 December 2026.

This addition reinforces the airline's regional footprint, which already features flights to Erbil from Berlin, Dusseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Hamburg, Hanover, and Stuttgart. The airline will also connect Dubai with 14 weekly frequencies, including daily departures from Berlin, four from Stuttgart, and three from Cologne/Bonn. Additional regional destinations include Jeddah, Tel Aviv, Amman, and Beirut served from multiple European stations.

From 1 December 2026, Eurowings will also deploy an updated Premium BIZ Seat configuration across all Dubai rotations and select European sectors. Fitted on the Airbus A320neo, the arrangement provides eight seats across the first two rows in a dedicated 2x2 layout, incorporating enhanced legroom, adjustable leg rests, and expanded recline.

Why it matters for your training

Network growth into high-demand regional airspaces involves specific operational planning, while cabin reconfigurations alter payload and trim calculations on the Airbus A320neo.
