Effective 6 September 2026, logistics operator DHL has doubled its volume of freight flights at Bratislava M. R. Štefánik Airport, moving from 10 to 20 operations per week.

As part of this operational development, the carrier increased flight frequencies to and from Leipzig from 10 to 12 weekly flights. These line operations connecting Leipzig are flown using both Boeing 757 and Airbus A300 aircraft types.

Simultaneously, DHL established a new cargo connection between Bratislava and Brussels, scheduled at eight flights each week. This route is operated with the Boeing 737-800BCF, an aircraft type converted into a freighter from the passenger variant of the Boeing 737-800.

Scheduled departures from Bratislava heading to Brussels take place during the night on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. In the opposite direction, scheduled inbound flights from Brussels arrive in Bratislava on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. This regular air link handles freight and shipments originating from Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
