China Airlines plans to expand its scheduled flight operations between Taipei and Vienna in the spring of March 2027. On this specific route, the Taiwanese carrier will introduce two supplementary flights scheduled across the operational window running from 9 March to 14 March. Commercial ticket bookings for these additional services are already open, with the flights officially designated under the flight numbers CI2063 and CI2064.

Concurrently, China Airlines marks its 15th anniversary as an active member within the Skyteam airline alliance. The carrier officially joined the alliance back in 2011, establishing itself as the very first airline originating from Taiwan to integrate into the group. According to the network information and figures provided by China Airlines, the global alliance network now encompasses approximately 960 destinations located across 165 different countries.
