Alaska Airlines announced plans to expand operations and capacity at Everett Paine Field during the first half of 2027.

The airline will launch a new route linking Everett to San Jose CA starting 14APR27. This connection is scheduled for two daily flights operated with Embraer E175 aircraft flown by Horizon under flight numbers AS2374, AS2375, AS2376, and AS2377.

In addition to this new destination, Alaska Airlines will implement several adjustments across its existing Paine Field schedule:

  • On the Everett to Los Angeles sector, the carrier will deploy two daily flights using the 737-900ER effective 18MAR27, replacing the previous mixed schedule composed of one daily 737-900ER and one daily Embraer E175.
  • On the Everett to Portland corridor, service frequency will increase from one to two daily flights operated with the 737-900ER starting 14APR27.
  • On the Everett to San Diego route, the 737-900ER will replace the Horizon Embraer E175 on the daily rotation between 11FEB27 and 12MAY27. Filings by the airline also maintain the 737-900ER for operations on and after 13MAY27.
