AirAsia plans an equipment adjustment on its routing linking Kota Kinabalu, Taipei Taoyuan, and Fukuoka throughout the Northern winter 2026/27 schedule period.

Starting from 25OCT26, the carrier intends to substitute the Airbus A320neo with the Airbus A321neo aircraft on this 1 daily service. This aircraft change applies directly to the scheduled itinerary connecting Kota Kinabalu, Taipei Taoyuan, and Fukuoka.

Under this planned operational schedule, the daily service encompasses flight AK1510 operating from Kota Kinabalu toward Taipei Taoyuan before continuing onward to Fukuoka. In the opposite direction, flight AK1511 performs the return journey originating in Fukuoka, stopping in Taipei Taoyuan, and concluding back in Kota Kinabalu. Both legs will see the scheduled deployment of the A321neo variant instead of the A320neo across this Northern winter season.
