Air India and Singapore Airlines expand direct codeshare bookings
Effective 15 October, Air India and Singapore Airlines open direct bilateral booking on 126 weekly flights connecting Singapore to eight Indian cities.
Air India and Singapore Airlines have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership established in January. Effective 15 October, passengers can book designated services between Singapore and eight Indian destinations independently through either carrier's sales channels. Under earlier operational procedures, a codeshare sector had to be combined with a flight operated by the partner airline.
This adjustment applies to 126 weekly flights connecting Singapore with Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. Furthermore, both operators plan to broaden reciprocal privileges for frequent flyer members of the Maharaja Club and Kris Flyer schemes, with rollout scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.
The existing bilateral codeshare network between the two carriers already spans 77 destinations across 27 countries and territories.
