Air Canada has filed additional service adjustments over the past few days regarding its route connecting Montreal and Delhi. Scheduled as a winter seasonal operation for the northern winter 2026/27 period, the service is seeing notable revisions to its flight schedule and capacity.

From 01NOV26 to 26MAR27, the carrier will reduce its planned operations from 5 to 4 weekly flights. These long-haul sectors remain scheduled with Boeing 787-9 widebody aircraft. The flights involved in this seasonal adjustment carry flight number AC050 for the outbound leg from Montreal to Delhi, and flight number AC051 for the return service from Delhi to Montreal.

This schedule update follows a previously reported reduction in the operational window for the Northern winter 2026/27 season. The airline is shortening operations on this market, concluding its winter service on 26MAR27 instead of continuing through 29APR27.

Why it matters for your training

Frequency cuts and shortened seasonal operational periods directly affect long-haul crew rosters and widebody fleet planning.
