Air Astana plans to expand its scheduled flight network at the start of the Northern winter 2026/27 schedule by connecting Almaty with Sharm el Sheikh. The Kazakh airline intends to deploy Airbus A321LR aircraft on this international sector.

According to the published operational planning, the service is scheduled to commence on 26OCT26. The route will initially see an operational frequency of 1 weekly rotation between ALA and SSH. A frequency increase is then programmed from 03DEC26, raising the carrier's presence on the city pair to 2 weekly rotations.

Flight operations are listed under flight numbers KC553 for the outbound leg from Almaty to Sharm el Sheikh and KC554 for the inbound return service to Almaty. Both weekly rotations are assigned to the extended-range Airbus A321LR narrowbody fleet, supporting the scheduled expansion between both airports throughout the season.
